Frequently Asked Questions

What was the impact?
Legislative Llama & Legislative Llama Facts reached almost 90,000 people, two-thirds of whom were in Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico, with civic education resources for voter registration and ballot initiatives.
What happens next?
Legislative Llama & Legislative Llama Facts are formally winding down their operations. As of June 30, 2026 our services are no longer active and the organization is completing the legal steps to dissolve. The mission you supported is being carried forward by Civic Base Learning Lab as an independent 501c3 fiscally sponsored project (sponsor: Social Good Fund) under MovementBase LLC. Civic Base's mission builds off of the llama legacy: continuing to build accessible, joyful, bilingual civic education tools so everyone can participate in democracy and be empowered to civically engage in our communities. What happens to my data?
In July you'll receive an email from us detailing how to access your data, but if you didn't get it you can request copies at info@legislativellama.org. After September 30, 2026 all user data will be permanently deleted.
What happened to my account?
Account and login functions are no longer supported on this site.
Why are you sunsetting?
We refocused away from action to learning and civic empowerment. Starting fresh with a new organization and new fiscal sponsor is the best way forward.
Will my data and/or account be automatically transferred to Civic Base?
No. Your personal data will not be transferred to Civic Base. If you signed up to Legislative Llama through one of our nonprofit partners and consented to data sharing at sign-up, they will receive copies of your membership contact information.
Where can I find the resources and content that I used to access here?
All of the learning modules will be found on Civic Base's learning hub by September 2026.
How do I get in touch?
Email info@legislativellama.org. This email will be monitored through September 30, 2026.
